As your horse’s natural tail hair grows over 4 to 6 months, the invisible attachment points will naturally move downward. This maintenance service is designed to safely remove, refresh, and reposition your existing extension hair back to the base of the tail for a secure, flawless finish. Maximize Your Investment Because we use premium-quality hair for your initial fitting, there is no need to purchase a new extension. This session entirely reuses the hair from your first appointment, making it a highly sustainable and cost-effective way to maintain that show-stopping volume. Customise Your Fullness Want even more impact for the upcoming season? If you would like to increase the density of your horse's tail during the re-fit, you can choose to add extra hair. Standard Re-Fit: Re-application of your current extension hair. Volume Upgrade: Add extra hair during your appointment (available for an additional fee based on the amount of hair required). Appointment Details & Logistics Like the initial fitting, this service includes a professional assessment to ensure comfort and natural movement. Please note that standard bookings are for on-site sessions in Kildare. For yard visits, our standard travel policies apply: a €30 surcharge per 50km from Kildare town, with a minimum requirement of 3 horses per off-site visit (group discounts apply for 6+ horses). You will receive an email prior to your appointment with specific washing and prep instructions.
